Definition of assertive sentence

Assertive Sentences – जो वाक्य किसी कथन को व्यक्त करता है, उसे Assertive Sentences कहते है ।

सरल भाषा में – ऐसे वाक्य जिससे केवल हाँ या ना का बोध होता है इस प्रकार के sentences को हम Assertive sentences कहते है। Assertive Sentences में हमेशा full Stop से समाप्त होता है. अर्थात, ऐसे वाक्य के अंत में Full Stop चिन्ह का प्रयोग होता है. ये Affirmative ( सकारात्मक ) या Negative ( नकारात्मक) दोनों हो सकते हैं।

A Sentence that makes a statement is called an assertive Sentence.

Example of Assertive Sentence

• एक आम खाओ।
  Eat a mango.
• वह एक लड़का है।
  He is a boy.
• मैं नहीं खाता हूं।
  I do not eat
• मैं एक लड़की हूं।
  A am a girl.
• राहुल एक किताब पढ़ता है।
  Rahul reads a book.
• वह जल्द ही आएगा।
  He will come soon.
• वह चौथी कक्षा में पढ़ती है।
  She reads is class IV.

• उसका भाई अखबार पढ़ रहा है।

Types of Assertive Sentences

Assertive sentences के समान्तयः दो प्रकार होते है-
1. Affirmative sentences (स्वीकारात्मक वाक्य )
2. Negative sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

सभी वाक्य या तो Affirmative होते है या फिर Negative sentence होते है |
Affirmative Sentence (सकारात्मक वाक्य ) – ये वे sentences होते है जिनमे किसी भी Negative Word का प्रयोग नहीं होता हो।
Negative Word (नकारात्मक शब्द) – No (नहीं ), Not (नहीं ), None (कोई नहीं ), Never (कभी नहीं ), Nothing (कुछ भी नहीं ), No Body (कोई भी नहीं ), Neither (न तो ), Nor ( न )आदि .

Affirmative sentences (स्वीकारात्मक वाक्य )

ऐसे वाक्य जिनसे सकारात्मक सूचना मिलती है उसे Affirmative sentences कहते है।

• वह हमेशा सच बोलती है।
  She always speaks the truth.

• मैं हर रोज़ विद्यालय जाता हूँ।

• सूरज पूरब में उगता है।
  The sun rises in the east.
• हम दिल्ली के लिए चल पड़े।

• मुझे यह पेंटिंग पसंद है।
  I like this painting.
• वे मेरे आदेश का पालन करेंगे।
  They will obey my order.
• वे पार्क जा रहे हैं।
  They are going to the park.
• उसके पास एक खूबसूरत बाइक है।

Negative sentences (नकारात्मक वाक्य)

ऐसे वाक्य जिनसे नकारात्मक सूचना मुलती है उसे Negative sentences कहते है।

• आपने कोई मैच नहीं खेला।
  you did not play any match.
• वह अंग्रेजी नहीं बोल सकता।
  He cannot speak English.
• वो मुझे पसंद नहीं करती।
  She does not like me.
• वहां कोई मौजूद नहीं था।
  Nobody was present there.
• मैंने ताज महल नहीं देखा है।
  I have not seen the taj mahal.
• अनुज सच नहीं बोलेगा।
  Anuj will not speak the truth.
• घड़ी में कोई चाबी नहीं है।
  The watch has no key.
• उसके पास कहने को कुछ नहीं है।
  He has nothing to say.
